For over a year, the world has endured lockdowns and restrictions that promised to slow the spread of COVID-19. Now that vaccinations are well underway, we’ve all got a reason to celebrate with loved ones we haven’t seen or spoken to in person for a long while.
As of April 15th, San Diego businesses and residents can hold outdoor parties, gatherings, and events. The city is once again issuing permits for outdoor events of up to 50 people and Picnic People couldn’t be more excited to help families and friends get together and (safely) celebrate.

Event Ideas
We understand that it will be a process until all are comfortable with socializing in person and attending events. That’s why we’re offering a variety of event options that don’t require active participation or close contact, such as live outdoor music, contact-free games, arts and crafts, magic shows, and so much more.

Event Locations
Picnic People is happy to accommodate a variety of locations, depending on the event’s goals and audience. A few great locations we recommend include the Naval Training Center Park, Mission Bay, and San Dieguito Park. We will take care of pulling permits, making reservations, and setting up the event from start to finish.
