5 Corporate Events For The Fall & Winter Season

Celebrate the fall and winter season with five fun corporate events everyone will enjoy. Whether hosted onsite, on a parking lot, or in your backyard, the following events are a great opportunity to bring employees together and celebrate.

1. Fall Festival

Bring out the BBQ, popcorn, corn dogs, and cotton candy for a flavor-packed fall festival. Games like ring toss, bingo, and double shot basketball are a must and will prime your team for success in the final quarter of the year.

2. Thanksgiving Potluck

Give employees an opportunity to show off their cooking and baking skills with a thanksgiving potluck. Ask employees to sign up in advance for the potluck and to list their dish. Delicious foods to consider bringing to your potluck include candied pecans, deviled eggs, butternut squash mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, pumpkin pecan cheesecake, apple cake, and pumpkin bread.

Or, host a thanksgiving luncheon featuring dishes from Picnic People so you and your employees can take some time off from cooking and baking. We’ll bring corn on the cob, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, and turkey. And we’ll also bring fun activities like a company trivia challenge and a scavenger hunt.

3. BBQ Tailgate

Turn your Friday into a game day with a BBQ tailgate that will raise the excitement level in the workplace. For the tailgate, we’ll bring brats, wings, hot dogs, pretzels, and a full bar. Picnic People handles everything from planning and setup to entertainment and clean up.

4. Holiday Office Party

Host an office party the week before Christmas to give team members a chance to relax and develop meaningful relationships with one another. Fun party ideas you could incorporate include karaoke, hot chocolate bar, photo booth, food truck, cookie or gingerbread house decorating, baking contest, and a gift exchange. If you’d like a more relaxed atmosphere, host a movie night. For an upscale event, consider doing a dinner cruise.

5. New Year Happy Hour

End the year on a strong note with a New Year’s Eve party that doesn’t end at midnight. Host the party at one of San Diego’s many venues and be sure to secure a DJ well in advance. Consider using the party as an opportunity to recognize employee achievements and celebrate company milestones. Give Picnic People a call to begin planning your next fall or winter corporate party!
